My task was to convert an internal listing system that required extensive training into a consumer application.
The system logic was too difficult to understand without training, but because it was patented, that logic couldn't be changed. By separating the mental model presented to users from the internal logic, I created simple and understandable visual metaphors.
My process included research, user flows, Activity Analysis, wireframing, visual design, development, and user testing.
